Steps to obtain unsupervised timesharing are NOT required to be provided in an original Final Judgment

Topic: Steps to obtain unsupervised timesharing are NOT required to be provided in an original Final Judgment.

In this case, one of the parents was given only unsupervised timesharing. The court ruled that steps to obtain unsupervised timesharing are not required to be provided in an original Final Judgment. The court cited Florida Supreme Court case of C.NvI.G.C., No. SC20-505 (Fla. Apr. 29, 2021).

Comment: C.N. case dealt with a modification action where one party lost part of their timesharing rights and wanted concrete steps for the timesharing to be restored. The court said steps are not required to be given. So, the “no steps required to be given” applies to original and modification actions.

Case: Piccinini v. Waxer, 46 Fla.L.Weekly D1116 (Fla. 5th DCA 2021)
